Giulia Franchi is a British-Italian director whose work focuses on outdoor stories, social impact and fringe culture. She was selected as a recipient of the BFI Female Film Club scholarship and her debut documentary was Grierson shortlisted in 2017. She is currently directing a 16mm documentary about the Stonehenge Free festivals and writing her debut narrative feature exploring her family's stories and collective memory of 1960s working class Rome.
